Silly Girls

Last Friday we went with the Nutt Clan to go see Santa and paint pottery. The girls had the best time together. Blakely loved seeing Santa and telling him what she wanted. Lilly on the other hand was a different story. I sat her on his lap and I thought she didn't scream and the next thing I knew she was letting out the biggest cry ever, even Santa jumped. So the picture is priceless Blakely grinning from ear to ear and Lilly screaming her head off. In Lilly's defense she didn't feel that well.

Blakely loved painting her own ornament and both girls loved getting paint on their hands for our Christmas plate. Sorry no pics it was pretty crazy. What great memories...

Christmas Party

Last Thursday we went to the Morris' for a fun family Christmas party. All the kids had the best time playing with each other and the adults had a great time eating yummy foods and visiting with each other. I forgot my camera so I had to steal some pics...

Cookie Decorating Party

The girls and I went to our 3rd annual Christmas Decorating party at the Silvey's. As always the girls had the best time and love, love their friends. Thanks Leslie and Olivia Grace for having us.

Christmas Train in the Park

On Saturday we took the girls to ride the train at the park in FS. The park is decorated with lots and lots of Christmas lights. We stood in line for over an hour to ride for 5 minutes...Luckily the girls got to play while one of us stood in line. They both had a fun time.

Gingerbread House

Daddy, Blakely and Lilly decorated their first Gingerbread house. It was a such a fun daddy/daughter time. Lilly only got to stay for a few minutes-it was her nap time and she started climbing out of her high chair onto the table. Blakely loved every minute of it and was so happy that she got to do it with Daddy. Blakely did most of the decorating...

Lilly is Walking!

Today Lilly really started walking-we went to the library this morning and they said she is officially a walker-I usually don't say it is official until they walk all the time without crawling! She still crawls, but is standing up or letting go of things and walking around-Yeah Lilly!
She is 14 months old today!

Wizard Of Oz

On Sunday afternoon Blakely and I went to see the production of Wizard of Oz-It was put on by the local high school-but you surely couldn't tell it was a HS production-it was very professional. Blakely was super excited about going to see it since she has watched it so much on TV. She loved every minute of it until after intermission-she was so tired(no nap and previous day was super busy) and she ended up falling asleep in her chair. She then woke up when it was almost over and had a major melt down-so we left before Dorthy clicked her heels-she cried the entire way to the car-fun times, fun times. I think if it wasn't 3 hours long things probably would have gone better. She still LOVED it even after her melt down.

The Square in Fayetteville

After Caroline's party we went to the square in Fayetteville-I know we had a busy day! The girls, especially Blakely loved all of the lights and the ponies. We woke Lilly up when we got there poor thing was still tired. Blakely loved riding her pony and seeing all the pretty lights. After the square we went and ate some yummy pizza at Tim's.

Happy Birthday Caroline!

After breakfast with Santa we went to Caroline's b-day party. The girls had lots of fun playing with their friends. Happy Birthday Caroline!

Breakfast With Santa

On Saturday I had to volunteer for our women's league Breakfast with Santa. Blakely came with me and helped out. She also got to see Santa, eat some doughnuts, color and play-she loved being entertained by Taylor and Addison-the older girls. She had a great time.

Countdown to Christmas Day

Everyday when Blakely was waking up she keep asking "is it Christmas?" I don't have a fancy advent calender so I used what we had to make a countdown for Christmas. Blakely and I made each circle out of fuzzy sticks and then attached them together-if I would have had colored construction paper I would have used that. Every morning when we wake up and we go and take one ring off. So now I don't have a child who thinks it is Christmas morning everyday.

Very Thankful!

So finally I have our thanksgiving post. I didn't take many pictures o f anyone else just Blakely and Lilly playing with their 2nd cousins Garrett and Gavin. We stayed at home on Thursday and had thanksgiving with just us at Cracker Barrel-it was yummy and I didn't have to cook. We headed out Friday afternoon to Daniel's parents and spent the weekend there. We got to do a little shopping and got to have a fun time with all the family on Saturday. We are truly thankful to have such great and wonderful family and friends, but most of all we are thankful for our Heavenly Father who gave up his life for ours-he has blessed us so. We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

We all sleep downstairs and when we got down there this is how I found the girls. Blakely has her own little Dora bed at Nana's house, but she decided to join Lilly in the Pack N Play. They were exhausted!
