I love my girls so, so much! God has blessed me being their mother. They are the sweetest little girls and I couldn't be any happier saying they are mine.

Gymnastics take two

Blakely (we) took a break from gymnastics a couple of months ago. We decided to start back up since she can go to a class where I don't have to help her. She is doing really well and she says her favorite thing to do is the beam. This class is a lot different than mommy and me. They really are trying to teach them a lot of skills. I've already asked Blakely if she wants to take gymnastics or dance next fall and she says dance. I just don't know if we can handle her taking both-we will have to see.

Dance Recital

Last Saturday we went to Darby's dance recital with my mom. Of course Darby did wonderful! The girls loved it and did really well watching it. Blakely keep getting up and dancing around-I think she is ready for those dance lessons. Lilly just watched and took it all in. Blakely and Lilly love their cousins and enjoy being with them-we wish they lived closer.

On Friday the girls and I headed south for Darby's dance recital and decided to take a detour. Yes, I am an American Idol fan-honestly I haven't watched the past couple of seasons, but since one of our own is on the show I of course I had to watch this season. We went to Conway to the parade and it was CRAZY!!! So many people and so very, very hot. We went with Rhonda, Abigail and Brady-Blakely had lots of fun with them. I did get to shake Kris' hand after he had gotten in the car to start the parade. :-) We tried to stay for the mini concert, but the kids were getting so hot and wanted to get something to drink. I'm glad we got to go, because it was a great to be part of the American Idol phenomenon.

Disney On Ice

This past weekend we took the girls to Disney on Ice! They had so much fun and loved every minute of it. Blakely wasn't feeling that well and probably wasn't as excited as she would have been. Lilly actually watched every minute of the show and did really well for an 18-month old.

Naturals Game

Last Saturday night we had a fun time with friends at the Naturals baseball game. Before the game we went over to the Morris' for dinner. We all had such a good time. Thanks Mila and Dean for the invitation. :-)

Happy Birthday Anna Kate!

Saturday morning we went to AK's "under the sea party." The girls had lots of fun with their friends! They also enjoyed getting their very own gold fish. Blakely named her fish, "Muffin" and we named Lilly's, "Biscuit." Sara everything was just perfect!

Lilly is 18 Months Old

Last Sunday Lilly was 18 months old. She is a ball full of energy these days.

I just wanted to capture some of the things going on with her.

Weight: 23lbs 3oz -40%

Height: 32 "-60%

Activity: She has become our little climber. She climbs on everything. She climbed up on the dinning room table the other day. She runs around everywhere and loves being chased. Her favorite thing to do is to be outside. I think she could live out there. She also loves her big sister and wants to do whatever she is doing. She loves to play with any toy, but her favorites are baby dolls and pushing her baby stroller around.

Talking: Well our little Lilly is not much of a talker. She does say several words, but uhh is her word of choice. She does attempt to repeat things, but in her way. She is a smart little girl and can follow directions fairly well. She is a girl who knows what she wants and will do whatever it takes to get it. If she doesn't get it, she can throw a big fit. hahaha

Eating: She is not picky(yet) and will eat whatever we are eating.

Our little Lil has a very sweet personality and is very lovable and caring.

We all love her so much and our very happy she is our little girl!!

Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Easter, despite the yucky weather.

On Saturday, Blakely and I colored/dyed eggs. We both had a good time and both girls actually enjoyed eating the eggs-I forgot to take pictures...

On Sunday, The girls woke up to some goodies from the Easter bunny and had fun with the new stuff they had gotten. I think the girls were most excited (it least Blakely) about putting on their Easter dresses. We all headed to church where Blakely got to enjoy another egg hunt/arts and crafts at church. That afternoon we all curled up on the couch and watched movies.

We are so thankful that we have a risen Savior who gave his life for us. I hope as the girls grow they will truly get the meaning of what Easter is all about.
