Shrek 3

Your Daddy and I took you to see Shrek 3 this weekend. You really enjoyed the movie. You did a really good job of sitting there and paying attention. There was a couple of times you couldn't make up your mind where you wanted to sit. You enjoyed your pa-cor (pop-corn) and you fell in love with the DONKEY. The past couple of days all you have been saying is donkey, donkey, donkey...

Kindermusik

We have been going to Kindermusik class for the past couple of months. At first you were very shy about doing what all the other kids were doing. By the end you were excited about class and participated so well. You were the youngest in the class, but you enjoyed being around the older kids. At our last class you even got to ride the train-you loved it. You learned so much and we can't wait until the fall class begins.

16 Weeks

Pregnancy is going well with the 2nd baby. Have been a little tired, but I am starting to get over that. Here is an ultrasound picture of the baby 4 weeks ago. We will find out on June 12th what we are having. We can't wait!!!

Dance Recital

We traveled to Mommy's hometown to see Darby in her dance recital. Blakely you truly enjoyed the recital, you couldn't take you eyes off of all the dancers.You had the best time playing with Darby and Zach. You and Darby played/jumped on the trampoline. You and Zach would chase each other all around. You love your first cousins and still are talking about Darby and Zach. Darby you did such a great job. We love you both!!!

My Big Lip

A couple of weeks ago you had an accident at school. You fell out of a chair and busted your lip. It looked horrible. You didn't seem to be bothered by it at all. I'm glad it was only swollen a couple of days.

Growing Up

Blakely you are growing up so fast. This week you have tee-teed once and pooh-poohed once in your potty. We haven't really been trying to potty train you, but we have had your potty out for a couple of months and we talk about it a lot. So you are starting to tell me some when you need to go potty. Hopefully this summer we can work on it and you will be trained before the baby arrives. I don't want to push you too soon, but I feel like you are heading down the road to potty training. YEAH!!!

Busy past 2 weeks

Blakely we have been pretty busy the past two weeks. The first week we stayed at home most of the time, because you had pink eye and a double ear infection. This last week you got to spend time with Uncle Kenny, Aunt Terri and your cousin Colby. They had to come in town for a church meeting. You had a fun time hanging out and going swimming. Then we went to Grammy and Papaw's for a sale and stayed for a couple of nights. This past weekend we went to Anna Kate's 1st birthday party. You had so much fun riding the pony and playing with Anna Kate. Maybe the next couple of weeks we will be able to stay home some and relax.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful time this Easter weekend. We traveled to Waco, TX to stay with the Harshbargers. Our exciting weekend included the zoo, shopping, going to church, playing with Cameron and Carson and oh yeah SNOW. It snowed all day Saturday and was very cold all weekend long except on Friday. People were actually building snow bunnies to celebrate Easter. At the zoo you loved seeing all of the animals and going down the clear plastic slide. You weren't too excited about going to a new church nursery, but you are definitely having separation anxiety issues these days. We also enjoyed a soda fountain from the Dr. Pepper museum. Other than the snow you had such a fun time playing with Cameron and Carson. You would follow Cameron around everywhere and would always want to know where baby Carson was. You loved hugging and kissing all over Carson. You and Cameron had fun finding the Easter eggs. You did a really good job of finding all of your eggs and enjoyed eating some of the candy inside them.
We had such a great time Carla and Todd and plan on coming back soon so we can go to San Antonio-hopefully it will be a little warmer. Thanks for a fun time.

My New Sandbox

Grammy and Papaw got you a new turtle sandbox. You had so much fun playing in it without the sand. I think you stayed outside and played in it for a hour and a half. Thanks Grammy and Papaw for my new sandbox.

I ate some dirt

This past weekend we worked in the yard. You played around and got into everything, including dirt. When I caught you eating it I ran over to you and you began to put as much dirt as possible in your mouth. It was quite comical. The inside of your mouth looked like the little Mississippi. I love this stage of exploration!

St. Patrick's Day

You had a fun time at Thomas house for our St. Patrick's Day playgroup. You just didn't like sitting on the couch with all of the other kids-had a meltdown. Hopefully it is just a stage. Olivia Grace is trying to give you a hug-how cute! As you can see we still LOVE our Blankee!!!

Wye Mountain

We headed south last weekend to go Mrs. Rhonda's baby shower. We decided to stay one night with Grammy and PaPaw. Since we were headed that way we meet Grammy at Wye Mountain. That was the first time we had ever been. It was so beautiful to see all of those daffodils. You had an OK time. You weren't in the best of moods. (Probably because you were getting sick-found out Wednesday you had a double ear infection.) Toward the end you enjoyed picking the flowers and trying to eat them. We did get a few good pictures of you taking it all in.

Playing Outside

You have absolutely loved being outside during our nice weather. You love to run around the yard, discover new things(the little purple flowers in our yard), drive your cars, ride the wagon, swing and play peek a boo. We are having so much fun spending time with you outside.
