My Cousins

You had so much fun with your cousins- Darby, Colby and Zach. They love playing with you and taking care of you.

Christmas 2006

You had a wonderful 2nd Christmas. This year we spent it at PaPaw's and Grammy's. You had such a good time opening all of your presents. I think you were a lot more excited about tearing the paper than what was inside. When you opened presents with clothes, you immediately wanted to put them on. We had such a fun time with you Blakely-you are truly a blessing!!!

Trains, Lights and Pottery

Blakely you had a marvelous time riding the Creekmore Train to see the Christmas lights. You had such a fun time walking all around the park with Daddy, while I stood in line for the train. We also took you to paint some pottery. You loved the paint on your hands and feet.

You are truly becoming "miss independent" and want to do everything on your own. I cherish our mornings because you still love to cuddle with me for those few minutes before you take off walking all around the house.
I love you pea potters!!!

The picture with you and your daddy - is you wanting off the train so you could walk all around the park. Once the train started you didn't want off anymore.

Walking, Walking, Walking

Blakely you are walking all over the house. You are so proud of yourself. Your dad was a little sad, because he wants you to stay small forever. We are so proud of you and love you so much!!!

Santa at the Mall

We went to the mall the other day and thought we would go say Hi to Santa since no one was in line. You screamed when I put you on his lap. So, mommy sat with you on Santa's lap to take a picture with our camera. I think your were mad because you wanted to get down and play, since you had been in the stroller for a while. Maybe next year you will run up to Santa and let him know what you want for Christmas.

My First Haircut

You got your first haircut today by Mrs. Brenna. Hopefully your hair will start growing a little bit faster since you got a little trim. You were such a big girl and did such a good job sitting there.

15 months Old

I am a little late with this, but just wanted to make sure I put your 15 month old stats. You were 15 months old on November 24. Weight: 22 lbs 8 ozHeight: 31 3/4 inchesYou are walking! Yeah! Still need more a little more confidence to be a full time walker. You are testing us a lot. Always wanting to see what our reaction is going to be. You are so much fun and we are enjoying you every minute.

Toliet Paper anyone?

We caught you exploring the toilet paper in the bathroom. You love to get into everything that you shouldn't. Life is fun and busy with a little toddler.

Breakfast With Santa

Saturday morning your daddy took you to eat breakfast with Santa. At first you weren't sure what to think and when we sat you on his lap you quickly wanted to get off. Then he gave you a candy cane and his bells and you were content enough to it least get a picture or two. We might go visit Santa again at the mall just to tell him Hi. You also ate your first doughnut - which you absolutely loved!!

Thanksgiving 2006

We had a wonderful time at your Nana and Grandpa Popes during Thanksgiving. You enjoyed showing everyone your new talent-walking. You had a fun time shopping, eating your turkey dinner (the stuffing was your favorite), taking an old time photograph and playing with the acorns outside. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for a great Thanksgiving!!

Almost a walker

Blakely we bought you some Mooshu trainers and you absolutely love them. They are somewhat annoying, but they are helping you gain confidence with your walking. When we were at US Pizza you would let go of my hand and start walking around the restaurant all by yourself. I'm sure it helped that you had a big audience. We are so proud that our little squeaker is gaining confidence to be an independent walker.

Lights of the Ozarks

We went to the Fayetteville lighting of the square and parade on Saturday night with the Nutt family. You were amazed by the floats, the fun cars that came by and of course Santa. You keep looking down the street to see what was next. The batteries on my camera died so I didn't get any pictures of you with the Christmas lights, only a few of you waiting for the parade to start.
