Blakely you turned eight months old today. You are such the talker these days. We think you have said your first word - DUCK! When you see your rubber ducky you say "duck, duck, duck..." At first we weren't sure, but we have decided that you only say duck when you see it. So as proud parents we are officially going to say that this is your first word. Maybe next month we can tell everyone you started crawling. Eating: You are eating two meals a day. Morning: Oatmeal cereal with nanas and apples. Dinner: meat, veggies and fruti. You will almost eat any baby food. Spinach is not one of your favs. I am still nursing twice a day and then the other two times you get a bottle of formula. Sleeping: Go to sleep around 8 wake between 7:30 and 8. You are starting to take one long nap a day. You have also been sleeping on your tummy. I guess that is what your prefer since you start out on your back. Movement: Scoot all around on tummy, but not crawling yet. Love to stand up. Have been holding on to the coffee table all on your own. We love you pea potters!!

Sorry to all of you out there who read Blakely's blog often. Our computer is having issues and I haven't been able to post. I won't be able to add pictures until we get a new hard drive, which I hope will be soon. So check back later for pictures. Blakely you had a wonderful first Easter. Your Nana and Grandpa came to visit. They loved being able to see how much you have grown in such a short time. We spent a lot of time outdoors and enjoying the warm weather. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for the books. Blakely loves them. Easter morning we went to church. They had an Easter egg hunt during Sunday school. We put you on a blanket and gave you some eggs to play with. I'm sure next year you will be running around trying to get your own eggs. You looked so cute! When we got home we gave you your Easter basket. You loved all of your stuff except this fish that encourages crawling by moving around on the floor. It really scared you. If it makes you feel any better Jeb doesn’t like it either. Blakely one day you will know the true meaning of why we celebrate Easter. It is such an important day for your Dad and I and I hope that it will be important to you when you begin learning about what a great savior we have in Jesus! We love you Blakely!

Blakely you had a fun day at the park. You got to swing in a big girl swing for the first time. You just loved it. We went walking around the lake and you enjoyed watching the ducks. By the end you were completely exhausted and conked out as soon as we put you in the car. I am so glad you had a great day at the park!
