9 Months Old

Blakely you are so much fun! Your fun little personality is really showing and we love it! We went to your 9-month Dr. visit on Tuesday and he said you were perfect. He wasn't to concerned about you crawling yet. He said you would soon enough. *Weight - 17 lbs 10 oz*Height - 28 3/4 inchesDevelopment: stands alone holding on to things, scoots around on the floor, taken steps with help from mommy or daddy, can clap your hands, close to waving bye, dances to musicVerbal: says dada, mama, bye-bye, duck, you are constantly babbling all kinds of words and are truly enjoying making soundsSleep: you are taking two naps a day - between an hour to an hour and a half long, you usually go to sleep around 8 and wake up between 6:30 and 7:00Food: I am still nursing you in the morning and at night you eat cereal and fruit in the morning, lunch you have a sippy cup of formula and veggie puffs or sometimes fruit, dinner you eat almost anything 2nd foods - you are starting to get somewhat picky about the veggies, especially green beans, we are working on you eating 3rd foods, snacks consist of veggie puffs, fruit puffs, biter biscuits and wagon wheelsWe are really enjoying this age. You are so much fun! You love people and being out and about. When we go to Wal-Mart or Target you get really excited about being in the cart. I think you love all the attention you get from everyone. You also love being at the Mall in your stroller. You were so cute yesterday at the mall - we were walking by A & F and you started moving to the music they were playing. You love being outside in your swing or strolling around the neighborhood. You love playing with all of your toys on the floor. Your favorites right know are the roll around balls. You still love your Jumper and Intellatainer. It is hard to believe that in three months you will be a year old. We are already planning your party! Mommy and Daddy love you Blakely and we are so proud to call you our daughter.
