This is what we have watched A LOT this past week! It was our first time to see it!


We love the Wizard of Oz!!

The girls, especially Blakely have fallen in love with the Wizard of Oz. I remember when I was little I was so excited when it came on tv-once a year! Now that we have DVR we can watch it when we want. Blakely and I are going to see the musical live in a couple of weeks. I know she will be so excited.

Mommy didn't feed me enough tonight.

Lilly is 13 months old and is such a cute, cute mess. She will walk to me and take about five to seven steps, but still doesn't have the confidence to do it all by herself. She has a very strong personality and doesn't like people to get in the way of what she wants. Not sure how many times I have heard from Blakely, "mom Lilly pushed me, mom Lilly took my toy away from me, MOMMY, Lilly is trying to push me out of my chair!" Then I also hear from Blakely, "mom, lilly shared with me, mom, Lilly is giving me kisses." Such great sisterly love. Lilly loves to eat and will eat almost anything. She currently has 5 teeth. She still loves her paci. Most days she still takes two naps, but lately it has been one. She sleeps all night long. Lilly you are such a joy!!!

I had a fun day at Silver Dollar City...completely worn out!!

Last week the girls and I took a short trip to Branson. My parents and my aunt Glenda and Uncle Charlie were up there for the week so we decided to go up and go to Silver Dollar City and do a little shopping. Blakely and Lilly had the best time as SDC. We went to go see The Christmas Carol and Frosty. Blakely rode a lot of rides-it was so nice because not many kids were there and we never had to wait in line. Last Christmas we waited an hour and a half just to ride one ride. Blakely has no fear in riding anything. Both girls enjoyed the parade-I didn't get to take any pictures of it because Lilly had a melt down before the parade began so I was holding her-she was extremely exhausted! All of the characters came up to them-Blakely loved it and Lilly was in awe. The next day we did a little shopping. My aunt got the girls dolls from the Disney store-they loved them and have played and played with their babies-snow white and sleeping beauty.

The other day when we were out for a walk the girls stopped to play in the leaves. They had soooo much fun!!

Halloween 2008

We had a great time at the Silvey's on Friday night. They hosted a fun Halloween party! We enjoyed some yummy food, had a fun time trick or treating and them back to their house for dessert. Blakely had the BEST time. She loved being with her little friends and loved going to all the houses. Lilly had fun too. She rode around in the wagon most of the time, but then there were a few times she threw a fit because she wanted to go up to the houses with the big kids. Thanks to everyone for a great Halloween!!
