Our Belt

Well Miss Lilly is such a mess these days. The past several weeks she has been taking all of her pj's or clothes off + plus the diaper during nap and when she would go to bed. There were so many nights we would find her without any clothes on laying on a wet bed. So something had to be done. I was telling my friend about it and she said she read in the parents magazine that they would use duck tape "aka belt" to put around their diapers for kids who did this. Well we got our hot pink belt and it works like a charm. I'm not sure why she started doing it. We are in the process of potty training, so maybe that is why. She is doing well with going potty and is so proud of herself when she goes. She gets off and says in her cute little voice, "I did it." Hopefully in the next couple of months I will be all free of diapers and tape-it least for the day time.

Halloween Party

Last weekend the girls and I headed to my friend Debbie's family's annual Halloween party. It was a lot of fun! The girls loved dressing up, playing games, the bomb fire and the hayride.

Blakely First Field Trip

Last week Blakely had her first field trip. They were supposed to go to the Pumpkin Patch at the middle school, but of course it was raining. So the Beta Club had different games/crafts set up inside so they could play with all the kids. Blakely had a great time and was real excited about riding on the big bus. Lilly and I meet her there. Of course Lilly just acted like she was one of the big kids and joined right along. We look forward to many more field trips.

Lilly's 2nd Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Lilly's second birthday at the local park. She had a pumpkin party. She and all the kids seemed to have such a good time even if it was freezing. They enjoyed playing, decorating pumpkins and the pumpkin penny game.

Olivia Grace's Party

This picture was taken a couple of days after OG's party by Heather Owens. They had to have their picture together.

Yes I'm so behing on blogging...ughh. Lately when I get on the computer I am working so I have not had much time to blog about what is going on. So several weeks ago the girls went to Olivia Grace's Birthday party. It was such a cute party and the girls had such a fun time. Well, it took Lilly awhile warm up-she was so scared of the clown. The girls enjoyed riding ponies and having races on their own little pony. Happy Birthday Olivia Grace!!

Lilly got brave and got on the pony.

Taylor Swift

Own Our WayMiss BlakelyCowgirl-with a little BlingJulia, Blakely and Bella
Sweet HugsBlakely and Mommy-Yes Blakely does not look happy and I look way too happy. hahaha
Last Saturday Blakely and I headed south to go see Taylor Swift. Blakely really likes her and I do too. Both girls sing along with all her songs. We went with the Nutt Girls and had the best time. Taylor really puts on a show! We also got to see Kellie Pickler and Gloriana. The girls danced, sang and had the best time.

Taylor hits the stage
So now for the long exciting story of the night...We were sitting in the upper section and two ladies came up by our section looking around (one we know now was Taylor Swift's Mom). A group of teenagers came up and they gave them free tickets to the pit area-so of course I had to ask are you giving away free tickets. She told me that our girls were too small to go down there, but she had something special in store for them later. Of course we had no idea what it was or if it was for real. After several songs from Taylor one of the ladies, a camera man and a spotlight guy came up to our seats and told us to get everything and come with them. When we got to the floor they told us that Taylor was going to do an acoustic set and that we would be able to sit on the carpet around her-they only picked 15 to 20 people to sit in the gated area. We couldn't believe it!! The girls were so excited and of course both Sara and I were. So she came down and sang a few songs and then afterward came by us and shook hands and that is when Blakely got a hug from Taylor. Taylor told Blakely "you are so sweet." Of course Blakely was excited, but doesn't understand how lucky we were to get chosen. So know we officially LOVE Taylor Swift.
All of pictures of Taylor are have a bright light in them. The spot light was shining on us/the carpet the whole time.
