After July 4th Daniel and I took a trip with his Mom, Nana and brother, Sam to Destin. We had planned on going somewhere out of the country, but plans didn’t go the way we wanted so we decided to head to Destin. My parents had already planned on watching the girls so they went with them for the week. We had a great time! It was just nice to be able to relax and not have to worry about anything. I did miss the girls, but I must say it was nice to get away for several days. Here are a few of our pictures from the week.

The last night we got to see a sea turtle lay her eggs. It was actually one of my highlights of the trip. Just a few days before Nana and I were walking the beach and we saw some eggs that were being protected and I told her I would just love to see a sea turtle lay her eggs-who would have thought we would have been able to see it.
