Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter we went to an Easter egg hunt with Rachel and Aubrey.  The girls had a fun time.  They got to listen to the real meaning of Easter, hunt eggs, eat ice cream and see the Easter bunny.  It was such a beautiful day.

Lilly wasn’t sure about the bunny, but she wanted the candy she was passing out. Look at this little adorable chocolate face…she can give you some looks.   Blakely and Rachel inspecting R’s eggs.

Easter Party

Blakely had her Easter party at school on Thursday.  All the kids enjoyed doing crafts, an Easter egg hunt, pizza and cupcakes.  Of course Lilly just joins along with all the kids.

Lunch Date

We meet up with the Boyd Girls during Spring Break at the mall for lunch.  The girls had a fun time playing in the play area.  Since Blakely started Preschool it is hard for all of us to get together like we use to.  Hopefully this summer we will be able to hang out more. 

Storytime Live

During spring break we took the girls to the Storytime Live.   It was such a cute show.  They got to see Kai-Lan, Backyardigans (their favorite), the Wonder Pets and Dora.  I didn’t get to take that many pictures because you can’t use a flash.  So I hurried up and snapped a quick picture of the girls before the show started.  I love watching the girls faces while they watch their favorite characters come to life.  They are in such awe.  Blakely really interacted with all the characters.  Lilly didn’t take her eyes off of them and totally ignored you if you tried to talk to her.  On the way home they keep telling us they wanted to go again tomorrow.  Oh the joys of being young…

Texas Friends

Our Friends Todd and Carla came up from Texas to visit their family so we were able to see them one night.  We enjoyed a night at this fun pizza place.  It is kind of like ChuckECheese but not with all the characters.  They have two little boys so the girls had a fun time playing with them.

Party In the USA

Blakely and Lilly’s friend Lily (AKA Big Lily) had a fun Hannah Montana party several weeks ago.  The girls both had a fun time singing, dancing and playing.

Girls Night

Several weeks ago Blakely and I meet up with Mrs. Leslie and Olivia Grace.  We had a fun Mexican dinner and then headed to the Razorback Gymnastics.  They had lots of fun watching the girls.  Blakely especially love the Razorback.  Some of the pictures aren’t that great-they have a strict policy of no flashes at the meet.

Fun With Friends

Our friends Melissa and Tony keep the girls for us so we could have a Valentine Dinner and Movie.  The girls loved playing with Rachel and Aubrey.  She took some pictures of the girls and just sent them to me.  

Valentine Party

Yes Valentine’s Day was almost two weeks ago and I’m just getting around to posting about it.  Oh well, it’s not like I have that many readers. 

Blakely had a fun party at school.  I didn’t do a great job at taking pictures because I was helping with the party.  All the kids loved getting valentines from their friends!  The kids enjoyed playing games, eating a big heart cookie and doing a craft.

Gymnast Lilly

Since January Lilly and I have been taking Mommy and Me gymnastics.  She is doing great and has lots of fun!   It is a wonderful  time to spend together with my youngest.

I got a Strike

We took the girls bowling on Saturday. It was their first time to go. They had such a fun time. Blakely would get so excited about knocking down the pins. Lilly would just yell “go, go, go” to the ball and would give you high fives. Daddy sat out and watched us because he still wasn't feeling all the great from his procedure last week. It was fun to do something different and get out of the house. Blakely has already asked to go back.
